History
Excavation proved that the renovated walls of hotel Kramer are on historical ground. There was a cloister in close vicinity to us, and there is a rumour that there are secret passageways to the actual hotel, which used to be an outbuilding of the cloister.
The actual parking place, in which our guests leave their cars used to a big market place for cattle and horses, apart of this “Der Kramer” was famous for it’s butchery and it’s own inn, who offered finest quality to the best price in Villach.
We are proud that we still maintain this positive image. We are very glad to welcome so many and longstanding regular guests which are part of our hotel family.
Since 1898 we are anxious to expand the building in a harmonic way. A stylish atmosphere, decorated antiquities form the historical past will accompany your holiday mood, even though you might stay for just one day.
We extended a few years ago, the attic with 4 stars standard rooms and we expanded the hotel with a business room, a comfortable hotel bar with an internet corner, so that you have a harmonic combination between tradition, style and best furnishing and equipment.
